Formed in 2005, afterallyourplanetsdone. was a groundbreaking act in a developing Ottawa metal scene. Known as one of the few bands at the time locally to fuse odd time signatures and a technical playing element to metal music, the band became renowned best for their brief blink-and-you-missed-it style sets, sometimes only lasting ten minutes in length. Although their run as a band was a mere four months, in their short time performing aaypd would go on to share the stage with Ion Dissonance, From a Second Story Window, and Beneath the Massacre before disbanding in October of 2005.
